I still need to do some testing. It seems like the effects might be somewhat random and beyond that seem to change depending on which discipline you're in (hand/land/war/magic). I see on Zam where there're bonuses listed for things like boiled eggs that show bonuses to crafting and attack but when I tried one I made it didn't change any of my stats on any discipline. I tried some raisins I made and noticed that it gave varying MP bonuses and Zam shows that they do give MP and magic potency but I didn't see any change to potency. It's not impossible that the stat bonuses don't display though. I noted that the MP bonus for raisins was +20 for both land and hand, + 25 for magic, and only 15 for war. Beyond that it was noted on the Lodestone that different races have different tastes for things and that this has an effect on food effects. As a Miqo'te it seems that boiled eggs are 'delicious' while raisins are merely 'tasty'. It seems like there's a lot of testing left to do!

Very interesting. I had no doubt that SE would make things deep as they did in FF11. The Galka could eat raw meat in that game so maybe a Roe enjoys steaks.
I will be the first to order a mass amount of +craftmanship and control food as soon as it is found haha.
